STIGMA portraits four landscape sceneries in Fukushima, post the nuclear disaster in 2011
By recording, mirroring and layering the ambient sound of these four landscapes on-location, the otherwise inaudible resonant tones between the trees and off rocks are revealed
Inspired from Kakemono (traditional hanging scroll landscape painting) the four idyllic looking nature scenes were shot in vertical video format. STIGMA challenges the classical concept of the idyllic nature
