The deployment of ultrasonic vibration within open and enclosed spaces, such as a public square or this museum gallery, will induce psychological affects of discomfort, threat, or an atmosphere of fear or paranoia; simultaneously physiological damage may occur. Ultrasonic and infrasonic emissions are used in order to disorient, torture, injure, or incapacitate individuals –without any visible or audible perception

Exposure to high intensity ultrasonic and infrasonic vibration can cause severely harmful effects: autonomic functions, primarily cardiorespiratory conditions, following vibroacoustic exposure can fluctuate erratically, resulting in atrial flutter, bradycardia, inconsistent breath rate, and difficulty breathing. Vertigo, nausea, disorientation, or other systemic discomfort may occur

Central nervous system effects include auditory shifts, vibrotactile sensitivity change, muscle contraction, and destabilizing vestibular (inner ear) sensation. Prolonged exposure can result in significant cavitation in blood vessels, hypothermia, tissue shearing, and eventually causing organ, tissue and overall multiple systemic damage.
