Church II is an instrumental adaption of Church from Jacob Kirkegaard's album "4 Rooms" on Touch, 2006) which was originally composed from ambient and resonance recordings of an abandoned church inside the radioactive zone in Chernobyl
Labyrinthitis II is an instrumental adaption of Labyrinthitis (Touch, 2008) - a canon of otoacoustic tones generated by the artist's own ears.
Like most of Kirkegaard's sound works, both pieces are characterized by a strong focus on methodology, and by the artist's wish to omit any deliberate emotional or "musical" intention
Composed & mixed by Jacob Kirkegaard
Recorded by Peter Barnow at Studio 3 at The Royal Danish Academy of Music, Copenhagen, Denmark June 2012
Mastered at Transition, London
