Melt
MELT is an auditory journey through the transformative phases of ice as it melts. The piece weaves together recordings that capture the evolving soundscape—from the raw, thunderous collisions of ice caps grinding together to the delicate trickles and fluid murmurs of melting water. As the composition unfolds, it traces water's passage from solid to liquid, revealing how this elemental shift alters the molecular structure in irreversible ways. MELT invites the listener to experience the fragile, dynamic process of change—both sonically and materially.
